Abstract

Nutritional assessment plays a key role in the examination of nutrient status and control of nutrient depletion of athletes. Many anthropometric changes that occur during the formative years of players determine the players future sports performance. Consequently, nutritional intake during this period can be decisive for a player's future sporting career.
